A Flashbot is a field trip organized in a short amount of time and on September 20 the ABS visited the newly acquired meadows and woods of the Adirondack Land Trust at the corner of Loj Road and Route 73 where there is the spectacular view of the high peaks. It is not yet open to the public but ALT personnel let us botanize for about 3 hours cataloging 97 species of woodland and meadow species. You can see many of the species we saw on the iNaturalist project called High Peaks Vista. We thank the ALT for allowing us to botanize this beautiful property and we look forward to returning next season.
